How about a spray gun that sprays skin stem cells onto burn victims, allowing them to leave the hospital fully healed in three days?

Completely . Amazing.
I burned my hand badly in December of '09. I was out of work six weeks. The treatment was at time excruciating. I would so love to see this get used more. Awesome.

I'm with ya on remembered pain. I got a second-third degree burn on one breast about three months after your burn and my god, I thought I'd go into shock during the debridment. Not to mention the months of healing and the scar that still haunts me. (Although my scar is fading away - how's yours? Mine seems to be getting smaller and smaller around the edges, fading out there, and I'm hoping it may be completely gone in a couple more years.

I have no scars, at least physically (mentally is another story!). I took exquisite care of my hands, plus the people at the burn unit at ECMC here in Buffalo are amazing, and I got and wore custom-fitting compression gloves for a long time afterward.
Yeah, the debridment is awful. My husband couldn't understand how I could do it. One day in the midst of doing it, I stood up and threw up from the pain. And went right back at it again. To think of someone being spared that agony, well, that's a remarkable thought!

I don't know if they can COMPLETELY forgo the debridment -- but at least you'd have to do it fewer times. And you noticed that his skin wasn't even scar tissue? Like, at all? Like it was 100% new non-scar-tissue skin?

This just boggles me. Like most animals, severe burns are one of my fears. The idea that they can heal them that well? Wow.

Any chance you could cut-tag the video? I'm easily triggered by medical things, especially unexpected on my friends page. Thanks!

I'm sorry. I DID think to do that on Facebook; I don't know why I didn't think to do it here.
