Yes, I dislike change. And the new "comment" format on LiveJournal is a change. But, for the way I use LJ, it's not bad.

But perhaps I'm grading on a curve, ever since I started looking at Facebook, which is an anthropological experiment in how bad one can make a product and still have people use it. (The other researcher in this study is George Lucas.)

The thing you have to understand is that simply "making it not work" counts as "not all that bad" when you compare it to Facebook . . .

I don't particularly like it, no. But I agreee with [livejournal.com profile] xiphius: for the way I use LJ, it's not a *bad* change, necessarily....
