I first saw it a couple of weeks ago, just after the event. It's great to see it again. What really gets me is that at about a minute left to go, you can see the horse's tail actually keeping time to the beat. I can barely comprehend how one could guide a horse through all the dressage steps, but how the heck can you teach him to keep time with his tail?? Wow!
If I had to guess, I'd guess that you DON'T teach that. I'd guess that the horse is just doing that because she's having so much fun and getting into the music.
I mean, doesn't that look like both the horse and the human members of the team are enjoying the hell out of themselves?
They do indeed. And after all, my cats used to keep time to music with their tails, so there's no reason horses shouldn't be able to do the same. I never did see my cats dance, though.
