Oct. 29th, 2002 09:30 pmOkay. I just listened to the third movement of Rosinni's Overture from "William Tell" back to back with Grieg's Prelude to Act IV--Morning Mood from "Peer Gynt".
I always mix those two up. Which isn't fair, because Grieg's piece is better than Rosinni's.
Anyway, I borrowed a CD of "Peer Gynt" from the library, and I found that it's got a bunch of pieces on it that I like. Besides the obvious one which I borrowed it for (In the Hall of the Mountain King; hey, Hallowe'en is coming up), it's got "Morning Mood", and a bunch of other neat ones.
I also discovered something which I found cool because I'm an incredible gamer geek; the music that's played in Olga's Shop in "Quest For Glory IV" is "Anitra's Dance", from this piece. Okay, fine, so that's really geeky. But y'all know that.
