well, that's pretty sexy, actually.. And if you grow it out JUST a little bit, everyone's gonna want to pet your head.

Yes, I think people underestimate just how good tinfoil hats look.

. . . oh, that wasn't the pic you were referring to, was it?

A tin-foil yarmulka? How "Lone Gunmen" of you. ;-)

The Mr. Clean look works on you, dude.

Hey, nice pics! I really like the no-hair-no-beard look on you. I hope you consider keeping it! :-)

I'm going to regrow the beard, I'm pretty sure. The thing that may not be obvious here is that those are the best three pictures out of several dozen I took. And photo number two was just a lucky shot. So, in fact, it doesn't look quite as good as it does in the second photo.

But I really like the second photo.

You know the difference between a professional photographer and an amateur, right? The amateur shows you *all* the pictures they took. :)

You look very handsome, but then, you always look handsome. And I *like* your chin. ;)

I like my chin, too. It's my jawline I don't like.

Seeing you looking like that, I wonder when the body-modifications nuts will try and go for the permanent Chrome-Dome look, as in actually metal coated. "Super-Hero bounces Laser-Beams off his Mighty Brow" ;-)

Gain some weight and people might confuse you with Steve Balmer.

Looking at photos of Steve Ballmer, I don't think he's significantly heavier than I am . . . (I'm 200 pounds/91 kg, and 5'5"/165 cm)

Hmmm

You don't look that short OR heavy in the photos I've seen at your web-site. I'm a string-bean at 75Kg /188cm (165lb /6'3").

I get that a lot, even in person. As near as I can figure, my legs are relatively short, so my torso is proportionally longer than one would expect, so, sitting down, people assume that I'd be somewhat taller than I am. And, even when I'm standing next to someone, they often don't notice that they're looking down at me. I don't know why.

As far as weight goes, nobody guesses that I'm as heavy as I am. Which, when I was studying a full-contact martial art, was rather fun -- people would occasionally attempt to tackle me, and bounce. I am carrying about 20 pounds more fat than I'd like to, but the height-weight charts suggest that I should be 150 pounds.

The last time I was 150 pounds, I was rail-thin -- and 5 feet tall.

My Dad follows the height weight charts. I hates 'em. I told him I'd accept a Body Mass Index measure but not Height Weight - so he found something that claimed to be a BMI index. Funny, it acted just like a height/weight chart... oh well, I pointed it out to him.

Glad to see pictures-- But I dunno. You wear the look well. On the other hand, I have a personal thing for beards, and I like your beard-and-hair look just fine.

[deep breath]

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

...although, I appear to be alone in that assessment. It was disturbing enough last time you shaved off just the beard, dude. :P

OK, you've got the evil genius look down now... at least when you're looking serious.

But what's most important is that you and Cheshyre like the look, and it furthers your plans for a better tommorow.

Whoah. Unexpected, but very nice. (and if you're going to shave your head, this is the weather for it...)

(We met in 2002, I believe, at the FFF.)

For what it's worth, I think you carry it off extremely well.
