The official name of the metal bikini outfit is Slave Leia™.

Emily L. Hauser of The Week and Donna Dickens of Hitfix and Buzzfeed refer to it instead as Hutt Slayer Leia.

I support this, and will henceforth be using this terminology.

Tumblr got it from them, I'm pretty sure. The earliest reference I can find is Hauser introducing the idea, and the second is Dickens retweeting it. From that point, Dickens began using the term widely, and, since she writes for both Hitfix and Buzzfeed, I suspect she is the primary popularizer.

Naturally, the fact of it is probably more important than the person behind it, but I like to give credit when I have a reasonable chance of figuring out who to give it to, and I'm about 85% sure that Hauser is the creator and Dickens is the disseminator.
