I love sleeping when it's cold outside. I pile the warm blankets on the bed and snuggle in, and then, because it's cold, the cats come in and snuggle down into the blankets, too. Or, if it's cold enough, they crawl UNDER the covers and curl up snuggled up to my side, or on my chest.

Sure, getting OUT of bed in the morning is a challenge, but that's because being IN bed is so comfortable.

Speaking of cats, have I mentioned my observation that Italy is probably one of the best places in the world to be a cat? Because Italians and cats value many of the same things: sunbeams, afternoon naps, socializing well into the night, looking good, and good food, to name a few.

Sleeping is always better when it's at least cool. With the exception of if it gets so cold that even having the tip of your nose outside the duvet is unpleasant.

I'll knit myself a nose-warmer if that happens. (I probably could. I tried knitting once, and I decided that the small, weird-shaped knotted thing that came out was a nose-warmer. I bet I could do it again.)

Same here, though I don't have cats. There's nothing like snuggling in warmth, and for me, sleeping got even better when we got a memory foam mattress. Italians and cats sound like kin. :)
