Many of you may be aware of MS Walker in Somerville, the manufacturer and distributor of such fine liquors as Cossack vodka, Old New England eggnog, Canadian Regal whiskey, and some other brands which are also not of high enough quality to use as cleaning products.
In the "Brita Vodka Challenge", where you take the worst quality vodka you can find and run it through a Brita filter a couple times to see if it gets drinkable, "Cossack" is the go-to "Before" vodka. It needs, like, three passes through before it's fit for human consumption.
Anyway, they are now attempting to expand into a new product line: things that are potable. They've just released a new product: a St-Germain knockoff called "St Elder".
I'm interested to see how the thing is.
