NPR game show synchronicity
Jul. 21st, 2012 07:00 pmAmusingly, two of the NPR game shows we listen to, "Ask Me Another", and "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me" "Says You", both had games today in which the contestants were given the names of sequels, and had to tell what first movie was.
And the last, and hardest, entry in BOTH games was "The Edge of Reason". and I managed to not know it both times -- seriously, I forgot.
Edited to Correct: Wrote down the wrong NPR game show . . .

"Wait Wait . . . Don't Tell Me!" is NPR's best-known show, and also has a download:

The newest NPR game show is "Ask Me Another" -- it doesn't have a single download link for the whole show, but each game is downloadable as a separate "story" download:

"Says You" started out in Boston, and airs on public radio stations, but, unlike the others, isn't technically part of NPR or PRI. Also, it's the only one without a podcast or download; however, you can look at their "Listen Live" link, and find when they air on various stations around the country that stream their broadcasts, and listen through the radio station's website.
