They've been adding a bunch of new content. For instance, you can now dig into the mystery of Jack-of-Smiles.

In my quest to do the absolute riskiest and dumbest things the game allows you to do, I have used the investigation path of becoming a Jack-of-Smiles . . .

I stopped playing for a while, and then started again the week last week in May. I was pleasantly surprised to see that I had gotten some free "fate" (I guess as a lure to get me back again?) while I was gone. So I think I'll wait it out some more to see what else happens. Oh, also it reminded me why I stopped: since I will not play at work, in order to get more than 10 actions done, I was was playing in the morning instead of helping Joy and JD get out the door to school, and staying up late in the evenings instead of going to sleep. Not great habits, and easier for me to go cold turkey.

Logged in, saw some new content, then saw that they still had the same obnoxious action system that's actively hostile to people who don't have all day to play, and remembered why I left. Someone, I'm sure, is collecting game writing in a wiki, and some afternoon, I'll take the time to read it and actually enjoy it.

Actually, the wiki which I found in my brief search wasn't too up to date, and did have a note from the game authors asking people to please not cut 'n paste verbatim (general notes about outcomes were OK, I seem to recall).
