xiphiasFirst, while we were driving over to pick Lis up from work to go out to lunch, Lis's dad said, "By the way, I just wanted to let you know that I could have stopped Rachel from winning in Illuminati last night, because I had a special card that would have allowed me to move money around, but I decided that it was late enough, and I still had work to do that night."
Also, I'd been intending to surprise them with what I was bringing for the picnic. But, oops, I'd forgotten to mark this and this private. . . I figured, what are the odds they would check my livejournal when they were right here in town and could see us, anyway?
The odds were somewhere around 1:1. Well, it still went over well even if it wasn't a surprise.
