Our cats like doing stuff with us.

We keep the litterbox in the bathroom, so that I can clean it every day before I shower. It's right next to the toilet -- it fits very neatly in the space between the toilet and the sink.
And, well, a whole heck of a lot of the time, when either Lis or I has to use the facilities, one or the other of the cats will follow us in, watch us settle in, and think, "Oh, okay, I guess it's litterbox time! I can do that, too!" And they'll go ahead and use the litterbox, pretty much because we are doing a similar thing.
There's a very limited degree to which anything involving excretion can be "cute", but I think that this is probably as close to adorable as it could practically get.
