A couple days ago, an announcement on the train let us know that "Due to a switching problem at Oak Grove, the Orange Line is running with ten minus fifteen minute (pronounced 'mine-OOT') delays."

So I don't know why anyone was complaining. After all, the delays were VERY small, and, anyway, there were negative five of them.

The T's version is especially bad. Today's Green Line announcement was "we are experiencing significant delays due to a disabled train on the River Dee Line."

I mean, it can say all that other stuff, but not "side" and "dee" right next to each other????

Also, I owe you a drink. Your dry ice and bourbon post inspired me to swipe a chunk from dry ice we had to buy anyway, and Alan added it to Scotch. Fabulous. And we are thinking of doing more for a FOGcon room party.
