Die, ants, die!

Exterminator came today, sprayed the kitchen and bathroom. Should be safe to let the cat out of the bedroom in a couple hours. There's a six month guarantee; the exterminator suspects that he'll be back in June. But, after that, that should keep the ants away.
The problem is that they're probably nesting in the walls. And even if we knock out the nest of ants, well, there'll be this really nice vacant ant nest for more ants to move into next year. . .
