No... I'm quite good at deciding to put the cat down when I need to... or acknowledging that I'm the one choosing to play with the cat when I don't.

... and frankly, the stakes are high enough in my life that 'aw it's cute' doesn't usually cut it as a reason to do - or not do - things... unless I've already alocatted the time slot for relaxation and self care.

... but I do understand the situation.
