Well, dang! That sucks.

Would it make any sense to go and help them rebuild?

Wow, that sucks!! Hopefully when they reopen the job will still be there. I thought you had started this past Monday (7/05), I didn't realize it was next Monday (7/12).

Dunno yet. I rather assume that Vince has a few other things on his mind right now. I'm assuming that things are delayed, not broken.

ETA: Apparently Facebook has now decided that to look at anything at all you must first join Facebook. Since I'll do that on a day when Hades has snow, I won't be following the situation via Think Tank's page. Let me know when they open again; I'll help spread the word.

Thats unfortunate.

We also have been facing some problems from the flooding. The sewage line backed up into the basement bathroom of the other owners of our building.... and over about 2/3 of the basement.

Cleanup continues through the next few weeks as will repairs, but hopefully not as bad as Think Tank is facing in regards to time line to fix things.

So we can definitely feel for the folks at the Think Tank... and for that matter the Brattle theater which ended up with a foot and half in their lobby evidently from the storm.

I am surprised that the damage was so extensive, considering the flooding earlier in the year, I would have thought everything that could flood did back then.

The damage from flooding seems far more extensive than it should have been... a few years ago we had a '100 year storm' (actually several days of rain, and at least two storms mostly back to back) that was supposed to create lots of problems with flooding; at least in our immediate area, that seemed to have far less impact than what we are experiencing now.
