I agree. I strongly supported Coakley even after she accepted the Obama/Kennedy alliance (after she fought them in the primary).
Brown's side used nasty tactics, going after her personally; and now the O/K people are going after her personally to make it look less like a referendum on Obamacare.
Coakley is a strong liberal, pro-choice, and critizicied Obamacare from the left. When she finally made a deal with them (to get rid of the Stupak amendment) a lot of left feminists became angry with her and voted for Brown as protest. (I know that sounds crazy; for their thinking see Riverdaughter's Confluence blog etc.)
My grudging congratulations, too.
