Nora's at the vet's, getting spayed

Just got the phone call; she's doing fine and will be ready to come home in a couple hours. But Nick is so clingy when she's gone -- just like she was when HE was gone to get neutered.

It's a good thing we've got the two of them. . . .

I've always thought it was good to have a two-cat minimum when possible. It seems to do them good to have one of their own to keep them company, unless they're one of those super-territorial only-cat types.

Even though Herbie pesters Patches all the time, she still seems to enjoy playing with him and even mothers him when he needs it.
