Annoying lack-of-sleep things

I got up at 5 am, which, because of daylight savings time, is really 4 am, to shovel the walk and driveway. I finished about 45 minutes later. Then I tried to go back to sleep, because I hadn't been planning on getting up before 8 or so, anyway, since I went to bed at midnight. Did you know that it's difficult to sleep after three quarters of an hour of moderate exercise? At least for me it is. So now, I'm too tired to be awake, but too awake to sleep. So I post to livejournal, which is somewhere in between awake and asleep, and therefore an appropriate activity

Date: 2003-04-08 05:50 am (UTC)Except for me, *any* motion at all is enough to wake me up. So getting up to use the bathroom is enough to make me too awake to sleep and yet still too sleepy to be awake.
