That boycott was freakin' hard, man. It's tough for me to not just blather on to y'all about whatever the heck is on my mind.

Your the only person I know who actually boycotted today. Not that you really were any where near the computer today.

I was at home all day, and opened up Semagic to post several times.

I avoided posting or commenting during the strike period. I didn't tell anyone I was doing it, i just did it.

It was hard for me at first - but more because I wanted to go see what was new on my flist. Then, towards the end I was wondering if I should log out of lj for 24 hours every week.

I probably take a day or three off about once a fortnight, then have the annoyance of a huge backlog!

This time there was almost nothing, though.

yeah, not posting wasn't hard at all, but not looking at anything on LJ was really difficult (especially when i read fandom_wank on journalfen, which tends to link to a lot of LJ wank :).

you're right, logging out once in a while is probably not the worst idea. i got pretty involved in some work today that normally i would have interrupted with flist reading because it was tedious. since i couldn't do that, i got more other work done in the interstices.

It was, and a couple of women have defriended me.

I may be defriending a couple more :-(

And I *like* your blather :-)

what boycott? I guess I don't use my LJ nearly as much as other people.

I managed to do it but I worked a lot and mainly did chores during Saturday.

It was very good to see you last night, BTW.
