I just walked in from watching at chez tapuz and laurens10, thinking "gosh, that was one of the better football games I've seen in a while.
Flipped on the TV to see if House was on yet, and was greeted by some commentator or another saying what a terribly badly played game it was (but at least it was close). This, THIS is what's wrong with NFL football, far beyond cheating or juicing or anything on the field. It's the idiots misunderstanding the game for the casual fans.
BTW, most of the ads sucked. I think this every year, but in particular I think it was true this time.
Well except for the bad officiating, the lack of calls. Really the refs needed Bill to tell them the Giants had an extra player on the field? Manning can stand in the middle of what looked like a defensive linemen huddle and walk out untouch.
Just about the worst game I have watched in a while.
