Just got a phone call, actually for Lis, from someone who's trying to help write a law in New Hampshire to prevent corporations from being able to do whatever the hell they want to do with RFID.
Unfortunately, everyone ELSE on the commission is an industry representative.
She's got a meeting at 4 pm, and wants to have a counter-proposal to counter the rather awful proposal that the other person in the meeting has come up with.
If you think you can help come up with language, if you've worked on these sorts of projects, if you know stuff about RFID and can help in the next two hours, her website is spychips.com and her email is kma at spychips dot com
Industry wants to be able to scan everybody for everything, then keep the data. The very least she wants to do is to make legistation that prevents them from keeping the data. Preventing them from scanning in the first place would be nice, too. . . .
