To use the sukkah. So we got to meet three neighbors -- who are Jewish and live in town, but their oldest son is having his bar mitzvah tutoring at our shul in Somerville! Small world, eh?

Nice folks, seems like, and pretty much what we were hoping for when we put up the sign.

Your sign worked - great! We had some neighbors come over today, too, for sukkah-sitting and labyrinth-walking. It was a good day. Missed seeing you here. I hope the rest of the holiday is joyful and fun for you. Did you have fun in VT? BTW - I told dad to call you about the bathroom thing, but he was pretty tired after our long day so I don't know if he will remember to follow up on your request. If you don't hear from him soon, leave another message on his phone machine.

I called Dad right after I left the message on your machine, and got through to him, so he'd actually already dealt with the situation by the time that you got the message! :) So everything's copacetic.

We had a BLAST in VT. I'll probably LJ about that next. And I missed being there today, too, but I came home from Hebrew school and fell asleep for the afternoon and a chunk of the evening.
