Back from Montreal. Had a great time. Typing in sentence fragments w/ shorthand notations b/c tired. Would have been home earlier, but pulled over at rest stops to take naps when sleepy, b/c not a moron. Finding that can deal with travel by car reasonably well -- if I can drive there, I can go there w/o too much difficulty. Bos <--> Mont officially approx 5 hrs 15 min or so; we took 8 hrs, b/c slept 3 hrs.

Door to door time for my return was 4h15m. About 15m of that was getting out of the hotel earlier than I had expected to; taking a cab or car service home instead of the T would probably trim another 20-30m.

I could have used 3h of sleep on the return myself....

But you probably had an opportunity to get at least 1 hr, maybe 1.5 hr of sleep on the plane, no?

Alas, no. The flight was only about 1h15 gate to gate, and I usually can't sleep on planes (basically, only on overnight flights, and it takes a while).
