You know that thing where you're in enough pain that it really hurts to move, but you have to leave to go to work, so you start moving and are about to go to work even though you really want to stay home and just sit still because you hurt?

I hate that.

Still, I'm in less pain that a lot of my friends, and y'all manage to get most of what you need to get done done, so here I go off to work. A couple Tylenol will help.

Nothing specific; it's just arthritis. Or, technically, arthralgia -- there's not swelling, just pain. When I first reported this to my doctor, he diagnosed me with ideopathic arthralgia, and I said, "Did I just say to you, 'My joints hurt, and I don't know why,' and you said back, 'your joints hurt, and I don't know why,' but you said it in Greek?" and my doctor said, "Yup! I get to say it in Greek because I'm a doctor."

Ouch. I hear ya at least a little. Days whne my arthritis kicks in are a real bitch. And I get very frustrated with myself for fumbling and dropping things or breaking things, even though I know its not really my fault.

If there's no reason you have to avoid ibuprofen, I find it a really superior drug.

I agree - Ibuprofen works better than anything else for my arthritis, although I do need 8oo mg of the stuff, so I don't use it too often. Is it time to talk with Dr. S about medication? Sorry you are hurting. Hopefully, the sun will return and we'll all feel better. Love you.

Dr Sagov has said that over-the-counter meds are probably sufficient for now.

We have 800 mg acetemetophin/paramecetol tablets on hand. We have both drugs, but I like the 800 mg pills better.
