Well, that's what made me wonder why you had mentioned "Malden" in your Apr. 2nd entry.
"I've only been doing sporadic gigs, and the wedding that everyone on my friends list went to yesterday, and for which a bunch of people suggested me as a bartender -- well, I did about six hours of research on the liquor laws in Malden, talked to the city law office, and a couple insurance folks, and got together all the information on what would need to be done in order to serve alcohol legally, and presented my results to them." (emphasis mine)
Well, I did ask if it was an error, xiphias failed to address that point ("You're right, I did mention the wrong town in my rant, but don't worry, all of my research and customer communications was for the right town) and I felt the need to expand upon/clarify my comment.
Yup. As a rule, I figure that, unless I'm real specific, pretty much anything I say f-locked could well get out. I f-lock things more out of politeness than privacy.
And, in general, I feel weird about people deleting their comments, except for certain types of things -- people may post something and delete it immediately, in order to send me a message more-or-less privately, since I get email notifications, and that's cool. And deleting something and reposting it in order to correct a typo or something, I'm okay with that. But in general, I don't like deleting comments (I delete spam comments, and that's it), and I don't delete my own comments, unless someone asks me to specifically because I'm giving out information I shouldn't, or something like that, and I prefer if people don't delete their own comments on my LJ, although, of course, they're YOUR comments, so I'm not going to insist or anything.

Of course, it was also a flocked entry...
