xiphiasGot our federal tax refund today.
Also had the mechanic look at the car to see what the funny noises were.
Actually, the federal tax refund is like $50 more than the estimated cost of repair, and Bruce does tend to give pessimistic estimates (so the actual cost is usually somewhat lower).
So, there goes most of the refund -- but, on the other hand, we have the money for the repair. So, things could be worse.
