So, for the past week or so, I've been doing nothing but Hebrew homework.

There are seven introductory chapters that have to be covered before the meat of the class really officially starts on the 20th. I'm most of the way through Unit 4. To be on track for stuff, I should really finish Unit 5 by the end of the day. This weekend is Boskone, so I'm not going to get much done then, and Tuesday is packed. So, the last third of Unit 4 and Unit 5 today, Unit 6 on Monday, and Unit 7 on Wednesday. Oy.

In good news, though, when I think "oy", I spell it in my mind, "alef, vav, yud."

In other news. . . the only person I sent a livejournal valentine thingy to was Lis. I got two others. I have guesses who they might have been from, but if you aren't cheshyre and you did send me a valentine, thanks, and, if you want to tell me who you are, feel free to do so. Like I said, I just sent a valentine to the person with whom I actually live and to whom I'm married.

I'm missing whatever encoding you sent that in, it showed up on my screen as "little box, little box, little box, little box, little box."

What alphabet was it supposed to be?

Bad me. That was Japanese, specifically "O-i-i-i-i-i" which is basically a sound of nervousness.
