So, I just loaded up Semagic, my LJ client.

It lists folks' birthdays.

It's my sister's birthday tomorrow.

I totally forgot about that until I saw it on my LJ.

Um, sproutntad, I don't have a card or present or anything for you, because I totally spaced on that. But I do love you, sibling, and I'm proud to be related to you. You're a damn good human being.

LOL, I remember you birthday! It's Feb 20th. But don't worry I only remember that because We would get a WEEK off of school for your birthday (Feb vaca up north) and only a long weekend for my birthday. :) But thanks anyway! BTW, you do know I'm gonna be in Boston on the 6th b/c mom and I go to Norway on the 7th, right? So, if you guys are free, you want to come to M&D's for dinner?

And, copperpoint, techinically, I am his only blood-sibling, but at last count there are between 25 and 30 people who do/have called my parents mom and dad, and/or lived in our house for a few months or longer. So, probably, I'm the one you know. I'm five years younger and loud and annoying and... well, that's the way I was when we lived together :) Thanks for the BDay wishes :) (oh and mom is on here, dad is not)

The only reason I ever remember my sisters' birthday is because if falls on Bastille Day. I use it as an occasion to refresh my memory and sing La Marseillaise at them on the phone. I'm reasonably sure that it's even sadder that I only remember their birthday as an occasion to torture them (but hey, what are older brothers for?).
