I got the best fortune cookie fortune ever.

I got lunch at our favorite American-style Chinese restaurant (you know what I mean -- not like what [livejournal.com profile] copperpoint is eating these days, and also not what you get in "Polynesian-Chinese" restaurants), and I got the best fortune cookie EVER at the end of it. Better than the one my sister got that one time, "You are not paranoid; we ARE out to get you."

It said, "You are about to become $8.95 poorer ($6.95 if you got the buffet)."

My worst ever was: "Beware of friends, who will betray you."

This was at a catered lunch during trainig for a job I was fired from a week later.
