Today is pretty much sucking.

So, we're supposed to have the gas company come by and turn on the gas to the first floor today, which, you'll remember, is already occupied. So that the people already living there can cook, have hot water, and heat.

The gas company was supposed to show up between 8 and 1. They've not been here yet. I've called several times, and get no information.

I've not showered today, because I know that, if I get in the shower, they'll come then. I've not even brushed my teeth. And I'm exhausted. I went to bed at 11, woke up after 7, and have been exhausted all day. And I've got tons of stuff to do, much of it outside the house, which I can't do because I'm stuck here. And a lot of the stuff IN the house I'm too tired and grotty to do. This sucks.

Maybe it's in the stars

I'm having the same sort of day. The big maw digging up the neighboring land for a new house was to move 3 larger plants from that property to mine. The guy said he thought that would be at noon but it is 5 PM and he hasn't gotten to it yet. But I need to stay here to make sure the plants go in the right space. On the other hand it is really cool that the construction manager offered to save the plants and move them to my property. But this being on hold has put me in a funky mood for no discernible reason even though there is much cleaning I could be doing in my house.
