What I did for New Year's.

Went over to vonbeck's house, and we watched Firefly on DVD. Ben made this dish which involves really good bacon, mushrooms (which I normally don't like, but this was good), and Yorkshire pudding, and we just hung out. It was just the two of us -- Lis was tired so sat it out, and we didn't get ahold of anyone else, so it was low-key, and really nice. We just haven't hung out a lot recently. So, yay for nice low-key evenings with friends you haven't seen in a while but who you've known since fourth grade.

You ever notice that if someone says that it's "two thousand and five", it sounds normal, but if someone says that the year is "twenty oh five", it sounds like we're in The Future?
