Thoughts on gender identity

This was triggered, most proximately, by a post in chaiya's livejournal, and in reference to a party at roozle's and sunspiral's place.

I just want to say that I'm really, really happy to be part of a community of which many of the prepubescent members consider gender to be relevant only for grammatical purposes or for determining which cards in Munchkin have what effects.

Strawberry cupcakes with marshmallow buttercream frosting are yummy.

See, yesterday, Lis wanted cupcakes, and we didn't have sour cream, so I substituted yogurt, but we didn't have plain yogurt, so I used strawberry yogurt, and, as long as I was using strawberry yogurt, I might as well put in some strawberry jam to punch up the strawberryness of it all, and Lis made the idle commen that she liked Twinkee filling, so I tried to make some, and it didn't turn out exactly like Twinkee filling, but it was good, so I put it on some of the cupcakes. Yum.
