Tired, sore, not bad all in all
Jul. 20th, 2004 05:35 pmWent over to
chaiya and
hakamadare's Shiny New House to help make it shinier. We carried appromixately fourteen billion sheets of drywall upstairs, then started sticking them on walls.
I was able to help out for six hours or so before my knee went out, which is a reasonable day's work, 'specially since Chaiya was paying us to help out. And besides payong us, she also fed us yummy Indian food for lunch from a local Indian restaurant. She mentioned that when she'd phoned the order in, the guy on the other end of the pone asked her if they were to deliver to her new house or her old apartment, which suggests to me that they're reasonably familiar with her and vice versa.
I've been home and stretching and resting my knee for a couple hours, and it's feeling a lot better. It just does this randomly every once in a while.
Need to shower; am sweaty, covered in gypsum dust, and heading out again in a couple hours.
