Nine hours ago, I weighed 201.2 pounds.

Now I weigh 206 pounds.

I love Thanksgiving. :)

Everything was wonderful; people ate my chocolate pie in about an eighth of a second; the cranberry sauce I made was (as expected) basically untouched because I'm the only person in my family that likes cranberry sauce, I finally remembered to bring my guitar to a family event, so one of my uncles and some of my cousins and I jammed for a bit, we played card games and stuff -- all in all, a good holiday, as expected.

I would, but she's in Florida, and didn't come up for the holiday.

I like cranberry sauce. The idea of homemade cranberry sauce is greatly appealing.

I was going to make a chocolate pie, but we already had three, and so I didn't. Next holiday.

I don't even want to know how much I weigh just now. I'm skirrred.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Yes. It's a graham cracker crumb crust, so I just buy that. Other than that, I melt a cup of chocolate chips, then separate two eggs. I beat the whites to the soft peaks stage, then mix the yolks and a third egg into the melted chocolate. I fold the egg whites into the chocolate, and beat a cup of cream, then fold that in. Then I put that mixture into the crust, and chill it for a while.

Ooo, cranberry sauce. No one ate ours either, not even me and Dad (who like it) or my mom (who doesn't like it but apparently felt that it was a duty to provide it anyways). My sister did make this yummy roasted squash thing which had dried cranberries in it, fulfilling our New England Vegetable requirement for the meal. And I just found a recipe for cranberry spice bread...mmm, cranberries.

I like cranberry sauce... from a can. I suppose one of these years I should try my mom's recipe, but I really do like the canned stuff... Still, I'd eat your chocolate pie any day of the week.

Cranberry sauce: yum!

I go for the stuff in a can but also love homemade variants. Some friends this year actually made a very far off variant of cranberry-ish sangria jello mold with orange slices in it. Had quite a kick!
