Cat follies.

The downstairs cat, Persephone, the teeny weirdling cat, came upstairs, curled up on the bed next to Lis and went to sleep. The upstairs cat, Boopsie, the grumpy older cat, went downstairs to explore, and ended up in Dave's room where the downstairs cat sleeps. Then Persephone went back downstairs, there was a face-off as she came around to re-enter her room, and found Boopsie hunkered down in the middle of it, growling. . .
Lis and I managed to extricate them, since they have this thing about each wanting to be far away from each other, each wanting to be on the opposite side of whatever doorway the face-off is around, and neither willing to approach said doorway, because that would involve approaching the other cat. . . the fact that one can pick up and carry cats helps solve these impasses.
