We accidentally locked Boopsie downstairs all night. No actual fighting, but both Boop and Seph look REAL stressed out. And somebody started scratching the nice sofas -- frankly, I suspect Boopsie, because Seph lives down there and hasn't scratched previously.

What kind of psychological damage have we just inflicted on both cats?

Boopsie has no opposable thumbs, so she would need one of us to light her cigarettes for her.

You give her too little credit. Surely she can find a source of flame somewhere -- pilot light on the furnace, perhaps?
