Near as I can tell, it doesn't work that way, it was an intramuscular injection, so the vaccine absorbs into the muscle tissue. You might not be sore for many reasons. Maybe you've already been exposed to something similar to what you were vaccinated against, so your antibodies were able to deal with the vaccine well.
