I worked from ten thirty in the morning to nine thirty at night today. And I don't feel exhausted or drained or ennervated by it -- working eleven hours at the Harvard Club wasn't bad at all. And I get overtime for over eight hours. I was training to work in the Grill Bar, the sports bar thingy in the basement, in which I do food service, pull draft beers, and, in general, do everything else that bartenders do, so it's a great training experience for me. After this eleven hour shift -- eight at the Grill Bar, and three being a cashier -- and, after about a thousand dollars in sales, I was only three dollars off, and I know what happened to those three dollars -- I got picked up by a beautiful, witty woman with a terrible sense of humor who is just a heck of a lot of fun to hang out with, who I happen to be married to, and then we went home, and, when we walked in the door, there was music playing, and our downstairs neighbor/tenant/roommate was sitting in the butterfly chair reading a book, and it was just. . . home. As Lis said, with Dave downstairs, and Samantha upstairs, the whole house feels like a home.

[...]witty woman with a terrible sense of humor [...]

Uhh...;) Either my Foreign is not quite idiomatic (and I know it isn't) and this says something else than it seems to, or then you expect that she'll miss this item - or, and all evidence points to that direction - you two are really great together.

Um. . . . one and three. I actually meant this both in the idiomatic sense where "terrible sense of humor" means "wicked and admirable", but its literal sense is occasionally true, as well . . . .
