I don’t usually remember my dreams so I may have had a nightmare and not remember it. However, I did have a pleasant dream about receiving a beautiful duvet from my sister.
Only sort of. Part of my dream was nice, in that someone I like was there with me and I snuggled with him a bit, but otherwise we were being subjected to any number of stressful annoyances. Plus, when I woke up, I got to remember that this was someone who would not accept snuggles from me in real life, so that was also unpleasant. :P
I didn't have them last night, but I took a nap yesterday in the late afternoon-early evening and had a nightmare then. I was in a situation which felt like something out of an action-TV episode, except that when the guy came at me there was no Buffy leaping in to protect me and I had no ability to do kung-fu kicks myself. I grabbed for my gun, which was in my car, and tried to shoot him at point-blank range - but there was too much force required for the trigger pull and I couldn't do it. The gun twisted in my hand, away from him, and I remember thinking "that'll show me the difference between TV and real life."
I think it was probably one of these instances when sleep paralysis intrudes on a dream - you know how, when you try to move in a dream and you can't, because your actual body can't move? I bet I was actually trying to pull the trigger with my actual hand, and that's why I dreamt that it was too heavy to pull.
I actually had a nightmare that you were crying at work and had barricaded everyone away by surrounding yourself with tables (long folding tables) so that people could see you but not get to you.
The only dream I remember from last night is a pleasant one about discovering a new singer-songwriter whom I liked a lot. (His name was Jan, he was European, and my favorite song was about his experiences as a lion-tamer in a circus.)
The night before last, however, I woke screaming ...presumably from a nightmare, though I don't remember the content.
I woke up from a dream, which is pretty unusual. I remembered bits of it at the time, which is also unusual. I don't recall the details now but it didn't seem unduly awful, so maybe I didn't, but the fact that I woke up from it is generally indicative of it not being an entirely happy dream.
I did, in the sense that I had disturbing nonsensical Star Trek TNG/Harry Potter crossover dreams. I don't remember the content clearly, just waking about halfway up up from them thinking 'No, subconscious, no!' and chastising it about writing bad fanfic before I drifted off again.
I had one that I remember. It had to do with Patrick betraying me about something silly, but I got so angry with him that I snapped awake from the sudden rage. I even got up to tell him about it. I was bullshit with him, though I told him I KNEW he did not do it and it was just in my subconscious.
I had another really good dream that I recall..
and many others that were disturbing, but I did not bring those conscious.

Random thought of the day: I started high school exactly twenty-five years ago today.

badly more often than not, on this
medication, but it's worth it.
