I heard the neatest instrument on the radio today.

Blues electric celtic harp. Electric blue blues electric celtic harp.

The harpist is named Deborah Henson-Conant, and I'd be very surprised if I have a Kevin Bacon number of higher than 2 to her -- she lives in Arlington, for goodness' sake, which is the town in which I grew up.

She sounds like an interesting person. Her website, http://hipharp.com/ includes the "Museum of Burnt Food," which is apparently housed as a genuine collection at her house. . .

She rocks! I saw her somewhere (Somerville Theater?) a few years back, and ... you know, it takes a certain type of person to throw in a few bars of Black Sabbath on a harp. She is that type of person.

2 is correct. When I worked at Fishman, I helped to fit pickups onto one of her harps. She flirts like crazy, and is amazingly cool.
