My all time favorite piece of Talmudic snark involves Rabbi Akiva building a sukkah on a boat, which then blows away in the night. Rabban Gamliel turns to him and with all of the sarcasm I cannot put into computer type says graciously “so where’s your sukkah now, Akiva?”
