My brain, and stomach, do weird things to me.

Driving home from the gym, I passed a Papa Gino's (a New England chain of Italian restaurants/pizza parlors -- there's like 180 of them within New England) and was struck with a sudden desire for Bad Pasta. Cheap, fast-food spaghetti, like you get at Papa Gino's, or Sbarro.

But I didn't want to PAY someone to make bad spaghetti for me.

So I made it myself.

I undercooked some spaghetti, and poured a can of Hunt's Tomato Sauce on it, with cheap pre-grated cheese, and an Italian Herb Seasoning mix we had lying around.

It was perfect. Exactly what I wanted.

I can make bad food. Go me!

*laugh* *applause* :D I totally, totally know the feeling, of wanting Bad Food, and nothing else - not even really good food - will suffice. ;)

Your bad pasta sounds like my good pasta, except I prefer cold Del Monte sauce, which doesn't have garlic.

I thought for bad pasta you were supposed to overcook the spaghetti, not undercook it.

No, that's for completely inedible, turns-my-stomach pasta. ;)

There are, of course, two forms of bad pasta. I wanted, specifically, the form of bad pasta that Papa Gino's and Sbarro make, in which the pasta is al dente except more so.

Now, if you'd *overcooked* the pasta and thrown in a couple of spoonsful of sugar, you'd not only have Bad Food, you'd have Chef Boy-Ar-Dee ...

You're a freak. A FREAK!

I like you.

Buuuhlargh, I remember Papa Gino's. Grossest pizza, too.

Sbarro isn't as bad, really. o_o

*would kill for a pizza right now*
