Lis has always been Lis
So we're going through papers Lis wrote in elementary and middle school. It's just hilarious how many of her characteristics were there then. First, there's the sixth-grade (eleven-year-old) paper on what her ideal life would be like when she grows up, in which she describes her current life perfectly: married, no kids, one or two cats, primary breadwinner, not a housewife, working at something intellectually challenging, possibly in computers -- and occasionally leaving things to the last minute and running right up against deadlines.
