Cats are annoying and adorable.

Last night, I was snoring, so Lis slept in the bed in the front room, which meant that our cats could have choices of where to sleep. Around three in the morning, I wake up hearing Nicky meowing piteously in the hallway, with his, "Nobody's around! I'm all alone in the world!" meow. I heard Lis calling, "Nicky. I'm in here. You can come here." About three times, over probably a good fifteen minutes of Nicky's mournful cries. I didn't say anything because I thought Lis deserved a kitty with her, but eventually, I just said, "Hey, boy. C'mere."

BAM! Cat by my side snuggling up. Didn't take five seconds. Yeah, apparently that was his specific "I can't find Ian" meow, and not his more general "I can't find people" one.
