Hmmm. I don't recall your having any friends I couldn't see. I can think of two possible explanations for this:
1) You never happened to introduce them to me.
2) You introduced them to me, but never told me they were supposed to be invisible.

I didn't have imaginary OR invisible friends, but I pretended I did so I wouldn't seem weird.

...and in my case, some "friends" that could be seen were often the more imaginary.
