I am very proud of our kitty.

There was a gross bug.

Nora ate it.

Good kitty.

Those bugs are even grosser after their round trip through the cat's esophagus.

I read the first two lines of your post and got worried. Another of my LJ friends just had a baby and named her Nora. I was a little concerned, but then glad it was you posting and not her. Yay for kitty, well done!

My 2-year-old daughter has been known to eat bugs (I think it is the "lure of the forbidden" in action). It doesn't seem to hurt her any.

Well done, Nora! *virtual kitty skritches*

(All of my family's cats have been mighty bat slayers, and one of them would periodically destroy slugs for no apparent reason, but none of them were ever any help in dealing with Things what Have Too Many Legs. Alas.)

Yay Nora!

Both the cats we have are excellent bug-hunters, and we've discovered that Patches is Death To All Mice. My mother is thrilled. :)
