Just got back from Indiana Jones

As everyone else on your friends list has said, it's good; it's not as good as Raiders; how it stacks up against Holy Grail Last Crusade is a matter of debate -- I happen to think it's better, and would agree with those who put this as number 2 out of the 4.

But the point is -- as we were walking into the theater, I looked down at myself and noticed how I was dressed. Kakhi pants, leather belt, fedora. I don't have a leather jacket -- my jacket was Army surplus. And I was wearing the T-shirt with the sepia-toned map of Central America on it.

Yeah.

The thing is . . . I was dressed normally for me. That's just how I dress.

Woburn. The Showtime Cinema in Woburn is about the easiest big theater for us to get to.

My daughter noticed that I usually wear a brown leather jacket, brown work boots, plain button down shirts (canvas weave, not white) and carry an od green messenger bag all the time. And I have an old Fedora that she's claimed, since she took it into a hot bath last year and it shrank. Again, not planned but has just come together over the years. I picked up the jacket as I'd been flight crew in the air force and it was similarly styled. The boots are required out here and I've always liked heavy weight shirts compared to modern stuff. Now, if I could just find a suit like his teaching one in Raiders.

Still haven't seen Skull yet. Sigh.

The sound cut out for a few seconds, twice, but other than that, it was okay. So, yeah, the theater DOES need to work on that problem. . .

Dad and I saw it last night. I would put it 3 out of the 4. Raiders, Last Crusade, Crystal Skull, and Temple of Doom. I keep wondering if they are going to extend the franchise with the Mutt character.
