Stuff that's going on today.

Let's see. There's a production of Twelfth Night at MIT, which I'd like to see. It's the Boston Burlesque Expo main event show tonight. A friend is holding a Green Liqueur and Liquor party. I'd like to get together with [livejournal.com profile] temima. And there's at least one other event which I'm forgetting about.

I can't do ALL of these things. . . how come all the cool things happen at once?

Well, on the one hand, of course I totally think you should see Twelfth Night, because the actors playing Feste and Viola and Sir Toby and Antonio are excellent and a lot of the others are watchably competent (and because I taught them their songs and because many of the costumes, made by the actress playing Viola, are very nice). On the other hand, none of those things are as cool as burlesque or drinking green intoxicants.

I'm not very helpful, am I. :)

The one other event was to call your mother about the performance at our local synagogue - a musical show about Esther with Boston area rabbis and cantors as the main characters. We ended up staying home in any case because I wanted to watch the original "Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" on TV. Good to see you both today.

It's a weird function of statitics... eventually, somewhere, for someone, all the cool stuff (or all the weird stuff, or all the interesting-as-in-the-Chinese-curse stuff, or all the bad stuff) happens all at once.

Today just happens to be your lucky day - especially since it is *good* stuff.
