So is anyone else wondering if the end of this part of the war will just be the start of a long drawn-out process with american troops daily being attacked by gun-totin' martyrs for Saddam? Ask Israel how easy it is to minimize casualties when the armies aren't obtaining military objectives, but are doing day-to-day patrols, keeping the peace, etc. (For that matter, how long did the Marines stay in Beruit?)
